I have recently had the privilege of meeting some young women who have recovered from their illness and have regained control of their lives. They know what it means to be recovered... They are now free.. !!
You can have that too but don't expect to be able to put a cross on a particular date on a calendar and say... that's the day I recovered. It's not like taking off the bandage and the wound is healed... it is rather noticing how you've changed and that you are now free to pursue your life. Also paying attention to the things that are important to you and who you are and how you want to live your life. I truly believe recovery is possible for everyone.. Don't try to be perfect in the process...your life won't be perfect.. that's unrealistic for everyone and being a perfectionist may have contributed to your illness and a perfectionistic yardstick will not help in trying to assess your recovery..
Winter is a time to contemplate and prepare for the awakening and regrowth of Spring.. use it
